Takes patients brought by ambulance (103), transferred from district hospitals and evacuated by helicopter from the mountains. Open round the clock. Patients are sorted by urgency, not by order of arrival. The observation ward has 24 beds for the first 24 hours; then the patient is admitted to a department or sent home with recommendations to the polyclinic.
Ambulance entrance: gate 3, from Hospital Boulevard. Relatives wait in the hall of Building E, not in the corridor of the resuscitation room.
